Mr. John F. Bowman, Chapter Chairman of F’auquier Chapter with whom Rappahannock is affiliated has extended his heartfelt congratulations and thanks to the people of Rappahannock for their marvelous turnout and cooperation in making the Bloodmobile visit so great a success. He states that the 53 pints obtained Monday completed 92% of the Quota of 1229 pints for the area, 90%, being the minimum required to retain the program. Volunteer personnel working throughout the day at the Bloodmobile station included Mrs. N.K.G. Tholand, Mrs. Bernard Dahlgren, Mrs. W. Arthur Miller, Mrs. Witold Kuncewicz, Mrs. J. Newbill Miller, Mrs. Oscar Lindgren, Mrs. James Smith, Mrs. T. C. Lea, Jr., Miss Virginia Yates Bradford, Mrs. Magdalene Dearing and Mrs. Ethel Bailey.
