Janet Carter of Warrenton. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Faulconer and two children of Orange were weekend guests of Mrs. W. M. Fletcher. Mr. and Mrs. William M. Carrigan of Washington, D. C. spent the weekend at Avon! Hall. Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Hall and five children left Saturday by plane to return to their home in Wildwood, Florida after visiting Mrs. Hall’s mother Mrs. Downing Wood and daughters Mary and Frances Wood. Sandy and Bruce Massey, sons of Mr. and Mrs. John Massey of Richmond are visi^ ing this week with Mr. and Mrs. John Cargill and family. Mrs. H. J. Racer attended Commencement exercises of Surrattsville High School of which her granddaughter Miss6 Susan Curtis of Clinton, Md. was a member of the graduating class. The exercises were held June 15 in Cole Field House on the campus of the University of Maryland. Friday supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. George H. Davis, Jr. at their home on Gay Street were Mr. and Mrs. Earl Wayland and Major and Mrs. J. E. Pauze ofWoodville and Mrs. Margaret Bilz and grandson Corky Harris of Seattle, Washington. Sunday guests of Mrs. Jesse L. Ward at Echo Hill Farm were Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Raymond, Mr. and Mrs. Fred A. Hufnagel, Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. Hufnagel, Jr., all of Warrenton.
Eugene Nethers of Frazersburg, Ohio was the guest from Saturday until Tuesday of Judge and Mrs. B. M. Miller. Miss Doris Daugherty and Mrs. B. M. Miller attended the Eans-Lindstrom wedding Saturday in New Market. Miss Daugherty’s sister Miss Cindy Daugherty of Pulaski was an overnight guest and accompanied Mrs. Miller and Miss Daugherty to New Market and was an attendant in the wedding.

Miss Annie Miller Almond and Miss Mary Miller Wood were guests Saturday at the Short-Louckes wedding at the First Presbyterian Church in Arlington with reception following at the church. Mrs. Warren Settle and children Sandra and Andy of Gainesville were Friday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ollie Fincham.
