Planned for Fourth
The Museum and Exhibit Committee of the Rappahannock Historical Society in cooperation with the public Library, plan to set up and operate the whole story of textile development in this area in early days. They will show how cotton, wool, and flax were taken from the raw state through to the finished product. Spinning wheels, carding devices, and looms will hum for the benefit of all visitors on the afternoon and evening of the Fourth. A display of Very old cloth and household items grown, processed and completed in this area will be loaned by collectors who have preserved these items for more than a century. The exhibii will be open from Saturday noon through Monday theFiftl of July. Baptist Attend Alliance in Florida
A number of local Baptist church members will attend the World Baptist Alliance which will be held in Miami Beach, Fla. June 25 through June 30. Among those attending the meeting are Mrs. A. C. Latham and the Rev. and Mrs. Charles Kindred of Amissville, Mrs. Norvel James, Jack James, Becky Cooper and Camilla Barron, Viewtown, the Rev. Arnold Sor rells of Flint Hill and Jimmy Latham of Amissville. The Alliance is a meeting of Baptist from all over the world and is held every five years. The last meeting was in Brazil
