The Amissville Ruritan Club ■vill hold its annual barbecue an Saturday afternoon, July }rd beginning at 3 p.m. The oeef will be pit cooked ovct tight and will bo served with vegetables, a sal.ad, drink and dessert, prepared and served by the men. You may have all you can eat for SI. 50for adults and 75 cents for children. For the entertainment of the children there will be kiddie rides and prizes will be given away.
Homecoming at Amissville Methodist
An all-day Homecotning will be held Sunday, July 4, at Amissville Methodist Church. The worship service w.ill begin at 11 a.m. with the minister, the Rev. James Harrison, giving the address. Lunch will be served on the grounds ynd in the afternoon there will be a song service.
Cubs Scouts To Hold Cookout
The Rappahannock Coun ty Cub Scout Packs will have a Father and Son get-to-gether Friday for its joint June meet ing. They will meet at the Flint Hill Packing House at 5:30 EDT on Friday June 25 to start the fishing activity and afterwards they will have a cookout.
