The marriage of Miss Linda Mae Silvey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Silvey, Jr. of Amissville, to Barry S. Jolliffe of Viewtown was solemnized Saturday, June 26, 1965 in F o r e 81 Grove Baptist Church. Mr. Jolliffe is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Silas Jolliffe. The Rev. Charles Kindred performed the ceremony at three o’clock in the afternoon, with the immediate family and a few close friends attending. The church was decorated with arrangements of mixed flowers. A reception was held at the home of the bride with a tiered wedding cake and punch served. Mr. and Mrs. Jolliffe are presently living with the brido groom's parents.
Mrs. Wolf Hostess For Bridge Party
Mrs. I. O. Wolf was hostess to the Sperryville Bridge Club on Friday evening at her home. Her guests were Mrs. Fred Schaefer, Mrs. R. E. Patzig, Mrs. Elmo Flynt, Mrs. I. R. Kilby, Mrs. R. E. Thompsen, Mrs. Roy Reeve, Mrs. R. E. Wood, Mrs. V. E. Goddard, Mrs. Mary Botts Quaintance and her house guest Miss Belle Strother, Mrs. Brown Miller and Mrs. Thomas Pillar. During the social hour when refreshments were served prizes were awarded to the winners, Mrs. Quaintance, Mrs. Goddard, Mrs. Wood and Mrs. Pillar. * In Memoriam
