********** Turkeys take the featured spot on the November Plentiful Foods List, the U. S. Department of Agriculture reports. USDA expects turkey marketings this November to be nearly five percent above November 1964.. and that’s talking turkey just in time for Thanksgiving.
Other foods on November’s Plentiful list are varied enough to make up more than one budget-minded menu. Apples, potatoes, onions, cabbage, prunes, frozen concentrated juice, split peas and rice all are abundant.
