The Rev. and Mrs. Charles Kindred and children Susan and John were weekend visitors of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Oakes in Brookville. Pa. and Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Kindred, Titusville, Pa. Mrs. George Kidwell returned to her home Sunday after being hospitalized in Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton for several weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Byrne Walter of Warrenton were guests Sunday of Mrs. J. L. Walter. Mrs. Walter spent from Wednesday until Friday last week with Mr. and Mrs. Leland Walter in Culpeper. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Bywaters and Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Bywaters of Flint Hill were Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Bywaters. Miss Jacqueline Marlow of Washington. D. C. was an overnight visitor Monday of Mr. and Mrs. S. W. Riley. Mrs. Sarah Latham joined her mother, Mrs. C. C. Cockerill and sisters, Mrs. John D. Peck, Mrs. Herman Kephart, Mrs. H. B. Peck, and Mrs. James Powell and daughter Miss Sharon Powell, all of Herndon, for lunch Thursday at Battletown Inn, Berryville. Beverly Carder of Fredericksburg spent from Friday until Sunday with her grandson will be hostesses to the Woodville Club on Thursday, November 11 at 2 p.m. “Oven Meals’ will be the program topic. The Chester Gap Club will meet at the firehall at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 11. Club leaders will present the program on “Oven Meals”.
