Selective Service Note
Each Selective Service Local Board maintains an up-todate Classification Record which is open to the public. In this record is listed the fol lowing information about each registrant: Name, Date of Birth, Selective Service number, Classification, Date of Physical Examination, Whether rejected or accepted; Date active duty starts; Service; Whether Inducted or Enlisted; Date of Separation from Service. Men born after August 30, 1922 who are not on ^fetive duty are required to carry Selective Service Registration Certificates (SSS 2) and Notices of Classification Cards (SSS 110). The law requires each regis trant to notify his local board in writing within ten days after it occurs of (l)every change of address (2) physical condition (3) occupational (4) marital (5) family (6) dependency (7) military status, AND any other fact which might change his classification. This information is recorded on the two cards registrants are required to carry.
