Ernest H. Jenkins
Ernest H. Jenkins, native, of Rappahannock County, died Thursday, January 20, 1966, in Arlington at the age of 81. Mr. Jenkins rah a black: smith shop in Sperryville for • many years, later moving to • Winchester and then to Arling.• ton. He is survived by his wife ' Mrs. Bernice Jenkins of Arlington; a son. Sonny Jenkins of Arlington and a grandson who lives in Winchester. Also three brothers, Alfred Jenkins of Boston, Virgil Jenkins of New Salem and Rosson Jenkins of Manassas and one sister Mrs. Evie Jenkins of Yorkshire.
A funeral service was held Sunday at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester with interment in Sperryville Cemetery.
Mrs. L. L. Herndon
Mrs. Clifford Blankenbaker Herndon, 71, wife erf Lewis L. Herndon of Madison died Wed nesday, January 19, 1966 in a Staunton hospital. A former resident of Rappahannock County, she was the daughter of the late Alonza N. and Lizzie Lee Twyman Blankenbaker of Madison. In addition to her husband She is survived by two brothers, H. Hill Blankenbaker of Culpeper and Albert S, Blankenbaker of Madison; and'one sister Mrs. E. Scott Brooking of Orange. A graveside funeral service was held at 2 P.M. Friday in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Madison, with the Rev. Roy Walk * tr officiating. * . Pallbearers were Travis Twyman, Vinton Lee Twyman, : Reginald L. Mills, Powell Button, Carlyle Blankenbaker and Ben Sanford., ~
