Mrs. Russell Myers of Richmond arrived Friday and stayed until Wednesday as a guest of Mr. and Mrs. George A. Johnston. Mrs. Charles Keenum of Washington, D. C. was a supper guest last Monday of Mr. and Mrs. Robert McDaniels. Cary Thornhill is in Washington, D. C. as a guest of his sister Mrs. Maude Schlosser.
Tom Thornhill and Brew Burke with Miss Peggy Burke of Silver Spring, Md. attended the funeral services for Robert Burke of Cabin John, Md. held in Bethesda last Friday. Miss Burke and Mrs. James Hamilton, also of Silver Spring returned with Mr. Burke and were week-end guests in the Burke home. Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Jenkins were Mrs Charles William Jenkins and son of Manassas, Mr. and Mrs Granville Smith of Boston and Mr. and Mrs. George Jenkins of Culpeper. Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Jenkins and daughter Virginia were in Winchester Sunday to attend the funeral service of Mr. Jenkins’ brother Ernest Jenkins.
