Leslie A. Rollins
Leslie Addison Rollins, 71, of Amissville, died Sunday, January 23, 1966 at the Newton D. Baker Veterans Hospital, Martinsburg, W. Va., following several months of declining health. He had resided In Baltimore for several years and was employed as a carpenter until his retirement in 1957. Born In Amissville, he was the son of the late James Addison Rollins and Julia Hitt Rollins. He is survived by his wife, the former Miss Mary E. Myers of Baltimore; a sister, Mrs. Sadie Thornton of Havertown, Pa.; a half-sister Mrs. Annie L. Hitt of Amissville and a half-brother, James W. Rollins of Orange. A funeral service was held at 2 p. m. Wednesday from the Geest Funeral Chapel with the Rev. John B. Hodge officiating assisted by the Rev. Claude C. McDaniel. Interment was in the Hillcrest Memory Gardens at Jeffersonton.
Pallbearers were John Silvey, Jr., James Silvey, Graham Hack ley, Paul Silvey, Jack Silvey and John Tapp.
