Mrs. Ellen Gore Crooks was commissioned a 1st Lieutenant in the U. S. Army on July 19, 1966. She was a graduate of Rappahannock County High School, class of 61 and was graduated from the University of Virginia School of Nursing in 1965. She entered the service September 7, 1965and was stationed at Fort Sam Houston, Texas where she received her commission. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Gore of Castleton, she is married to James T. Crooks of Gfeen Bay, Wis. They make their home in San Antonio, Texas.
