“MISS VIRGINIA” SPECIAL GUEST in Flint Hill Parade. Linda Jo Maclin of Roanoke, newly crowned “Miss Virginia”, will make one of her first public appearances Thursday, August 4, at the Flint Hill Fireman’s Parade where she will appear as a special guest through the courtesy of the Pepsi Cola Company. The beautiful blue-eyed honey blonde won her title at Roanoke after performing a modern dance to the tune of “A Taste of Honey.” Miss Maclin will represent Virginia in the “Miss America” Pageant at Atlantic City iii' September.
