Miss Ann Pay Shirkey left Tuesday for her home in Bridgewater after a week’s visit with her cousin Miss June Jordan. Mrs. W. M. Fletcher was the guest from Monday until Wednesday of last week of Miss Charlotte Wimbish in Richmond. Mrs. Inez Buckner of Richmond was a Thursday guest of Mrs. Fletcher. Miss Kay Johnston is a coun sellor at Camp Skymont which closes for the season the end of this week. Mrs. Mildred Smith returned to her home at EchoHill Farm Sunday from the Warren Memorial Hospital. Mrs. T. M. Johnston was a dinner guest Friday of Mrs. H. B. Wood, Jr. at Woodville. Week-end guests of Mrs. Matilda Walker we re her broth er and sister-in-law Dr. and Mrs. J. W. Clark of Martinsville.
Mrs. R. L. Cheatham and son Arthur Cheatham have returned from a trip to Williams burg, Topsail Beach, N. C. and the Great Smokies. For the latter part of the trip they were joined by Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Keyser, Jr. and Miss Grace Ann Keyser. Visiting Mrs. J. M. Lillard on Sunday were Miss Becky Edmonds and John Manuel of Front Royal and Mrs. Will Walters of the Plains.
