The One Hundred SeventySecond Annua^' Meeting of the Shiloh Baptist Association will convene with the Oak Chapel Baptist Church, Orange County, August 10th and 11th, with daily sessions beginning at 9;45 a.m. The two-day meeting will emphasize the problems, the challenge, and the contributions of the rural church in contemporary life. Dr. Cowan Ellis, Pastor of the First Baptist Church in Charlottesville and Moderator of the Baptist Ceneral Association of Virginia, will lead the worship periods for each session. Major addresses will be delivered by the Reverend C. O. Greene, Superintendent of Missions for the Kings Mountain (North Carolina) Baptist Association, and Dr. Philip E. Rodgerson, Associate Secretary of the Department of Associational Missions and Evangelismfor Virginia Baptists. The preacher for the annual sermon will be the Reverend B. Gale Titchenell, Pastor of the Woodville Baptist Church, Rap pahannock County. A special panel presentation of the multiple ministries conducted by the Departments in the Virginia Baptist General Association will be made by Reverend Harold Bailey, Reverend Gene Williams, and Reverend W. E. Cullers. The annual reports of the Association's unit organizations anc stated committees will be heard by the messengers. Special music will be provided by Miss Eleanor Rinker and Mr. Joseph S. Durrer, Jr., sololsu and by the Adult Choir of the Stevensburg Baptist Church, and the Crusader Choir of the Culpeper Baptist Churcli. The Shiloh Baptist. Association consists of thirty-five churches and one mission located in Rappahannock, Culpeper, Madison and Orange Counties. These combined cor gregations have a membership of approximately 6500.
