Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Sisk had as their guests Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Waver Kennedy and Mr. and Mrs. Olney Kennedy of Slate Mills, Mr. and Mrs. Benny Jenkins of Brandy, Mrs. Leon Shank, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Short and daughter, all of Culpeper. Also visiting were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Sisk of Orange and Mr. and Mrs. William Sisk and family of Fairfax.

Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Lyne and Mrs. Randolph Towne of Burlington, Vermont were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. G. A. Taylor of Orange at the Lord Culpeper Hotel on Friday night. David Lyne with a group of friends spent the weekend at Virginia Beach. The Misses Annie and Mabel Hopkins and Oakley Hopkins who spent last week at their cottage returned to Washington, D. Mrs. Maurice Manuel of1 Browntown was a luncheon guest on Friday of her sister, Mrs. B. M. Varner.
