Kan. ‘and children Jimmy and Frances of Ft. Leavenworth, Kan. are spending some time with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Johnle Hackley. Tuesday the James Hackleys were oveinlght guests of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Henry Hackley in Falls Church. Mrs. Johnle Hackley, the James Hackleys and Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Burner were In Lexington Tuesday to attend the funeral of Mr. Burner's uncle Lute Buchanan.
Mrs. Ethel Hoehn of Baltimore spent last week with Mrs. Ida Holmes. Wednesday afternoon visitors of Mrs. Holmes were Mr. and Mrs. George Moffett and two children of Norfolk. The Rev. and Mrs. S. W. T. Hedrick of Linden spent last Tuesday morning with the Rev. and Mrs. Fletcher Osborne. D. D. Sandford of Warrenton was a visitor Thursday morning of the Osbornes, and the Rev. W. A. Layman of Jeffersonton visited them Friday morning. Mrs. John Torbert and children of Lynchburg accompanied by Misses Louise and Katie Anderson of Culpeper visited in the community Saturday.
Mrs. Odessa Ficklin had as her dinner guests last Tuesday the Rev. and Mrs. W. A. Layman and daughters of Jeffersonton.
Miss Nini Lalng left Tuesday for Ireland where she will spend three weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Burrell Luttrell and children of Scotch Plains, N. J. were visitors from Thursday until Sunday of L. H. Luttrell and Mr. and Mrs. G. H. Dennis and daughter Landra. Lisa Luttrell, who has spent several weeks with her grandfather, returned home with her parents. Saturday night the Luttrells visited Mrs. Annie Latham and Mrs. Ethel Cooksey.
