Fall Rummage Sale* Begin September 1st
The semi-annual rummage sales staged for the benefit of Washington Fire Company and Rappahannock Rescue Squad will be held during the month of September. The sales will be open each Thursday and Friday of fhe month from 9 a, m. until 5 p.m, a— ■ ment df the'fjost office building at Washirigtdb. The first sale day is Thursday, September 1. Everyone who has usable articles which they would like to donate to the rummage sale may call Mrs. W. B. Jenkins, or leave them at the salesroom door. This is one of the few methods used to make money for the support of the fire company and rescue unit and all contributions will be appreciated. Visit the sales for splendid bargains for already some appliances and other lovely articles have been contributed.
Receives Promotion
Rosie Brady Keesee, a native of Rappahannock, has been promoted to secretary to the underwriting superintendent of the Eastern Office of the State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Co., Charlottes ville. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John H. Brady and she is married to Clark Wilmer Keesee, Jr. They live at Flint Hill.
