tlst Mission on Sunday, Jifly 31 at 4:30 p.m. The main speaker was Dr. William B. Denson of Richmond with Act of Dedication by the pastor and the congregation.
Following the service a fellowship meal was served to all present on the Mission grounds. In June, 1958 the Rev. Joseph Graver, under the auspices of the Shiloh Association opened a Mission Sunday School and church service in the Elmer Hickerson store building. May, 1961 a building committee was named consisting of the Rev. John B. Hodge, James Sparks, E. M. Jones, and C. E. Johnson, Jr. Paul Pucklitsch was elected as treasurer of the Chester Gap Building Fund. Groundbreaking services were held in September, 1961 with cornerstone laying August, 1962.
