Amissville Rescue Squad took a Mr. Lohr from Amissville Post Office to Culpeper Memorial Hospital on December 2. Mr. Lohr was a truck driver for L. R. Waters and suffered a possible heart attack while on his delivery route. On the 4th, Clifford Nicholson was taken from his home to Fauquier Hospital and returned. The Amissville Fire Company responded to a fire at the home of Roger Poe Tuesday night. No serious damage resulted. Flint Hill Fire Company went to a chimney fire Saturday at Canterbury, home of Mrs. Katherine B. Oettinger.
