Annual Lighting
Contest Announced
The Christmas Home Lighting and Decorating Contest annually sponsored by the Town Council in Washington will be judged this year on Christmas Eve between 8 p.m. and' 10 p. m. The object of the contest is to promote interest in making the town more attractive during the holiday season and to focus attention on safbty and fire prevention.
Town residents and water users are eligible and those with lighting will be considered in the judging on Christ- j mas Eye. Council member Bertha; Armel is again in charge of having the Town Christmas Tree lighted which is in the lot between the bank and the fire hall.
