Rappahannock Panthers pulled out a close victory over the Central team from Woodstock Friday night on the home court with a final score of 69-68. High scorer for the game was Bobby Settle with a total of 31 points and second scorer was Charles Dodson with 17 points. Rappahannock stayed ahead until the fourth quarter when the Central team tied the score with a strong drive. With five seconds remaining Roy Reeves got a rebound and passed it to Wayne Deal who brought it down court for the winning goal with one second left to play. This game will be long remembered. Tuesday the Panthers continued their winning streak j with a 64-52 victory over the >Strasburg Rams. Bobby Settle was high scorer with 21 points and Ed Ausberry of the Rams had 12 points.
