The Amissville Ladies Auxiliary to the fire company held a buffet supper for their December meeting Tuesday evening with about 20 attending. Mrs. Charlotte Scott, left, was a special guest. Mrs. Scott stays on round the clock duty to answer fire and rescue calls and turn on the siren. With her is Mi®. Shirley Pullen, Mrs. Charlotte Kelly and Mrs. Barbara Williams. Those attending were given holiday corsages made by Auxiliary President, Mrs. Edith Hackley. Gifts were exchanged and favors were given all. Brenda Hackley read a Christmas poem and the group sang carols.
