Mrs. Lena A. Wayland, 91, of Washington, Va. died Sunday,
December 10 at Culpeper] Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Way^ land was the widow of GroverWayland and daughter of the late Thomas and Ellen Fogg Huff. Survivors include a son. Clap ence Ashby Wayland of Washington, Va., and two daughters Mrs. J. StantWeavero*f Washington, Va. and Mrs. Leo A. Wood of Takoma Park, Md.| A funeral service was held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Clore Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John S. Farrar officiating. Interment was in Washington Masonic Cemetery.
Pallbearers were JoeD. Keyser, Hugh J. Racer, Gilbert Updike, Ollie Huff, D. 0. Miller, Clarence Giles, Cary Thornhill and Edward Cary.

Reuben Wesley Smoot, 52, of Washington, Va., died Thursday, December 7, 1967 at a Winchester Hospital. He was the son of Mrs. Etta French Smoot of Washington and the late Thomas W. Smoot a native of Rappahannock County and a retired farmer.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Rosie Lee Riley Smoot; three daughters, Miss Etta Jane Smoot, Mrs. Harold Brown Estes and Mrs. Frederick Jen
