Officer* Elected for Washington Fire Co.
The Washington Volunteer Fire Company and the Rappahannock Rescue Squad held an election of officers at the December meeting held Monday the 12th. Officers elected were: president, Jonas Alther; vice president, Edward Hudson; fire chief, Harold Brown Estes; assistant chief, Ennis Jenkins; secretar y-treasurer, Mrs. Bertha M. Armel. Engineers elected were William Estes, Harold Brown Estes, Ennis Jenkins; Directors are Jonas Alther, Edward Hudson, Harold Brown Estes, Mrs. Bertha M. Armel, J. Newbill Miller, L. V. Merrill and T. Carlyle Lea, Jr. Mrs. Bertha M. Armel was also elected as captain of the Rescue Squad.
