The Rappahannock County Sheriffs Department and the Police Department are investigating a series of robberies which occurred in Rappahannock County Monday. Reports so far have disclosed items missing from at least ten homes or home sites.
From the home of Harold Scoggin a television and some money was missing; Edward Clark was relieved of some money from his home. Both of these homes are located on the Fodderstack Road near Washington. Money was taken from the home of Pete Jenkins and some change was taken and a telephone wire cut at the home of Mrs. Ruth Keyser, both on the Tiger Valley road near Washington.
Clarence Rector’s home on Tobacco Road near Amissville was entered but nothing could be found missing. On this same road at the home of Freeall Nicholas a number of guns and several gun cases were taken. A television was taken from the home of Howard Banks, east of Amissville and a
