TTie Chester Gap Homemaker’s Gub is sponsoring a summer project for girls in that area in fulfillment of their Federation Goal of “Home and Youth Development.” The girls first met and decided from a list of three possibilities that they would like to learn to sew. Mrs. Maybelle Gilkey, a member of the Club is assisting the agent in helping the girls learn to construct their garments. Those girls participating in'the class are: Sue and Sandra Pullen, Wanda, Pam and Rae Williams, Shirley North, Melinda Ubbens, Janet Wines, Dianne Williams, Robin North and Kathy Williams. The girls have been working hard and hope to finish their blouses and dresses this week.

Concerts in Luray
Luray will enjoy an unprecendented weekend of music on Saturday and Sunday, August 24 th and 25th, when the famous Madrigal Choir from
An outstanding feature will be the special Sunset Vesper Program at 7:30 p.m. Sunday night at the Luray Singing Tower. Their first concert will be given on Saturday 8 p.m. at the Methodist Church in Luray, a special choir group, accompanied by organ and cembalo. This will be followed by a reception in the basement of the church.
On Sunday morning their gifted organists and talented singers will take over the musical program in most of Luray’s churches. All these concerts are given free of charge, just to give everybody a chance to enjoy this outstanding group of musicians.
