Mrs. J. B. Perkins spent Friday night with her mother Mrs. Addie Perkins in McLean and on Saturday met her grandchildren, Cindy and Doug Cumins at National Airport. They had been on a three weeks’ vacation with their father, Sid Cumins in Long Island, N. Y. Miss Shirley Brown of Bethesda, Md. spent Saturday with her mother, Mrs. Catherine Brown. Other weekend guests were Mr. and Mrs. Julian Brown of Culpeper.
Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Roberson of Newport News were weekend guests of the Rev. and Mrs. W. A. Harrison and Kevin.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles R. Brown and family of Oxford, Ohio spent last week dividing their time with Mr. and Mrs. Maury W. Brown and Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Wetsell in Front Royal. A family picnic was held on the Brown lawn on Tuesday and others attending were Mrs. Phyllis Shirey and Lois Willingham, Mrs. Elizabeth Ragan and Mrs. Jean Konek and family, all of Richmond. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Brown and family also enjoyed a sightseeing trip to Washington, D. C.

Wakefield spent several days last week with Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Johnson.
Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Johnson attended the Homecoming service at Slate Mills Sunday. The guest speaker was the Rev. Judson W. Baldwin of Stuarts Draft, a friend of the Johnson’s. From there they visited Miss Nellie Johnson in the Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
