Miss Kathleen van Brederode became the bride of Raymond Pawloski on August 10, 1968 at St. John’s Catholic Church, Warrenton, Virginia. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Mary S. van Brederode of Blue Rock Farm, Washington, Virginia. Mr. Pawloski is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Pawloski of West Islip, Long Island, New York.
Th* nuptial mass and double-ring ceremony was performed by Father Campi at ten thirty o’clock Saturday morning. George Simmons of Oceanside, New York was organist and Mrs. Robert van Brederode was soloist. Vocal selections included “O Perfect Love”, “When I Think Upon Thy Goodness”, “God My Shepherd Walks Beside Me” and “Panis Angel icus”.
The bride, who was escorted down the aisle by her brothers, Robert A. van Brederode and Richard W. van Brederode, was given in marriage by her mother. Her floor-length gown of white silk organza was of A-line design with long sleeves, rounded neckline and chapel train. The bodice of the dress was accented with insets of lace and embroidered with seed pearls. Her veil was a chapel-length lace mantilla. She carried a cascade of white rosebuds, stephanotis and baby’s breath. Miss Joan van Brederode of Blue Rock Farm was maid of hopor for her sister. Her empire style, floor-length gown was of pink linen with insets of cranberry velvet ribbon and white lace cap sleeves.
