My Trip to Miss.
By Freddie Schaefer
Kaye Johnston and I arrived at Dulles Airport and it was a cloudy day. We went out to the plane on a funny car with two drivers on both ends. One to drive out and the other to drive back in without turning around. Hie car cost one million dollars to build.
So we finally got aboard the plane which was airconditioned and the stewardess gave us pills for airsickness, which I didn’t need. Then dinner on the plane to which I had been looking forward to • Salisbury steak, potatoes and carrots and some kind of a gooey salad and ice cream. While we were flying I talked to a man who was sitting next to me and I started a conversation with him. He was from New England on his way to Florida and we talked about the clouds. When we stopped off at Atlanta and he got on another plane I moved to the outside window for a better view.
The clouds got darker, darker and when we arrived in Mobile it was raining. We were met by Francis and Susan Updike, and continued on to their apartment
