Va. Fox Hunters Assoc. Will Meet
The third quarterly membership meeting of the Northern Virginia Fox Hunters Association will be held Friday, August 23, 8:00 p.m. in the conference room of the Culpeper National Bank. Fox hunters of Fauquier, Culpeper, Orange, Madison, and Rappahannock counties especially are asked to attend.
Final plans will be made at this meeting for the Northern Virginia’s 1968 Field Trials and Bench Show.
Benefit Rummage Sales
The semi-annual Rummage Sale for the benefit of the Rappahannock Rescue Squad and Washington Volunteer Fire Company will again be held in September, starting Thursday, September 5 and continuing every Thursday and Friday throughout September. The sale, sponsored by the Ladies Auxiliary, will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the basement of the Postoffice building in Washington.
Your help is asked in contributing articles for sale. Please leave with Mrs. W. B. Jenkins or at the salesroom door. This is your opportunity to assist in the upkeep of two indispensable services - your Fire Company and Rescue Squad.
