J. Stant Weaver who has been a patient in the Culpeper Memorial Hospital returned to his home on Friday and was joined there by his son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Nick Penaranda and family of Fairfax. On Tuesday he went to the home of his sister, MrsI G. R. Butler in Boston for an indefinite stay.
Mr. and Mrs. Ashton W. Burke of Warrenton were Saturday evening guests of Mr. and Mrs. Charles C. Burke. Sunday afternoon visitors were Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Clatterbuck and two children and Mrs. John Cook of Centreville.
Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Campbell of Luray were Sunday supper guests of Judge and Mrs. B. M. Miller. I Mi§s Phyllis Vemer of Falls Church is spending this week of her vacation with her mother Mrs. A. M. Vemer and sister, Mrs. Mary Updike. Last week she spent with her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Jenkins and family of Suffolk on a camping trip in the Great Smokies. They all spent the weekend with Mrs. Vemer and Mrs. Jenkins’ parents, Mr. and Mrs. George W. Jenkins of Sperryville.
