Clayton Turner has been named as Coordinator of Federal Programs for Warren and Rappahannock Counties for the coming year. In his position, Mr. Turner will coordinate the various Federal programs in the county that are sponsored under Title I, II, and III of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965. He will also work with funds made available through the National Defense Education Act.

A native of Warren County, Mr. Turner attended Warren County Public schools and received his B.A. degree at Randolph Macon College in Ashland. He is currently enrolled in the Graduate School of Education at the University of Virginia where he is working towards a degree in administration and supervision.

Prior to his current position, Mr. Turner was employed by the Hanover County School Board as a history and economic teacher at Patrick Henry High School in Ashland.
