Reckless Driving

Charged in Accident

Thomas Leroy Walter of ' Washington was charged with I reckless driving after becoming > involved in a traffic crash in Gid 1 Brown Hollow on May 1. The ! single-vehicle crash occurred at | 12:30 a.m. and according to Trooper W. A. Buntin, the 1 operator ran off the right of the 1 road and struck a tree. Damage to the car, a 1966 Rambler station iwagon, was estimated at $500. It was owned by Johnny Harrison ; of Washington, Va.

Trooper Buntin investigated a traffic mishap Sunday afternoon on Route 211 a mile east of Washington, Va. A camper trailer, 1 which was being towed by a 1968 Buick, overturned in the highway. Dwner and operator of the car and Concord camper was Ralph Lynnwood Miller of Simpsonville, Md. He ran off the right edge of the road, lost control of the vehicle and the trailer turned over on its side. Damage to the car was estimated at $200 and to the camper $1,000. Bible School

Announcement is made of the forthcoming Bible School sponsored by the Amissville Baptist Church which will be held from June 16 through June 29 at the church. The school will conclude with a Children’s Day Service Sunday morning, June 29 at 11 a.m. The Rev. Charles Kindred is pastor of the church.
