Mrs. Hazel Cooke was a visitor Saturday evening of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Smith and Mr. and Mrs. Everett Smith. Mr. and Mrs. Horace Scott and daughter and Mrs. Everett Smith and children spent Sunday in Manassas as the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Elwood Clatterbuck and family.
Mrs. Sarah Latham had as her guests for lunch last Thursday at the Coach and Caverns Restaurant in Luray her mother, Mrs. C. C. Cockerill of Herndon, her sisters, Mrs. James Powell, Mrs. Herman Kephart and Mrs. H. B. Peck, also of Herndon and Mrs. John D. Peck of Spotsylvania. Susan Latham returned home with Mrs. Powell and was her overnight guest, then spent the remainder of the weekend with her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. David Hoadley in Arlington. She returned home Sunday evening.
Guests for the weekend of Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Payne and son Billy were Mr. and Mrs. Earl Mann of Suitland, Md. Additional visitors Saturday evening were Mr. and Mrs. Randolph Clater and daughter and Willie Payne and John Cloud of Washington, Va., and Franklin Payne of Rixeyville.
