Contests May 15th
I'he Ml Share-The-Fun-Contest will bo held Thursday, May 15 at 7:30 p.m. at the Rappahannock Elementary School. 4-H’ers of the county will be doing various talent acts I’he winner will be awarded a 4-H Camp Scholarship to 4-H Camp at Holiday Lake. The public is invited to attend.
William* Place* Second In District Golf Match
John Henry Williams of Amissville placed second in individual scoring at the Northern Virginia District golfing competition held Saturday at |Front Royal. He is a member of Ithe Fauquier County High School [team which also placed second in |the contest. The tournament was iwon by Loudoun County High [School and the district is k'om posed of seven teams. I The State Championship will be played at Waynesboro on May 15, 116 and 17. The Fauquier team [will participate.
