Mrs. C. B. Palmer and daughtei Miss Amy Palmer were in Richmond Sunday afternoon and attended a Tea at the home oi Mrs. Shirley Valdrighi in honor of Miss Peggy Palmer whose marriage to Nicholas Valdrighi will take place August 9.

Mr. and Mrs. John Murphy of La Grange, HI. were overnight guests Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Palmer at Scuffle Hill and visited Mrs. Murphy’s mother Mrs. J. A. Elmore in the Warren Memorial Hospital in Front Royal.

Visitors on Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Keyser at The Oaks were Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Simpson of Luray and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Slaughter of Leesburg.

Capt. William Weiner of Bridgewater was a guest Thursday and Friday nights of Mr. and Mrs. W. Arthur Miller at Mt. Prospect. Mrs. James M. Settle of Front Royal was a luncheon guest last Wednesday of the Millers.

Guests of Miss Mary Miller Wood on Sunday were Miss Frankie Keyser, Mrs. Joan Tarwater and son David Tarwater of Adelphi, Md. and Johnnie Keyser. Mr. Keyser, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Keyser of San Diego, Calif, is enroute to Madagascar where he has employment. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Faulconer
