Dan Strother Price
Gravesi<je funeral services for Dan Strother Price, 48, of Front Royal were held Wednesday at 4 p.m. in the Washington Masonic Cemetery, conducted by the Rev. William M. Hargett.
Mr. Price died Saturday, August 30, 1969, in an automobile collision accident on Route 95 near Fredericksburg in Stafford County.
He was bom in Welch, W. Va., a son of the late John W. Price, Sr. and Mrs. Louise Miller Price.
He was a veteran of World War II and employed as a salesman for Kaplan-Crawford in Marlow Heights, Md.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Laura Reid Price of Front Royal; a son, Dan S. Price, Jr. of Front Royal; two granddaughters; and two brothers, John W. Price, Jr. of Vienna and C. M. Price of Fairfax.
Active pallbearers were Gibson Wharton, Wallace Critzer, W. F. Moffett, jr., Larry LeHew, H. L. Singhas and J. Paul Jones.
Members of Giles B. Cook Post 53, American Legion, served as honorary pallbearers and presented the flag at the graveside.
