Mr. and Mrs. B. J. Wood were visitors last week from Thursday until Monday of their son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Edgar D Charles in Tu seal ossa, Ala. making the trip by plane.

Mr. and Mrs. Carson Lillard and daughters the Misses Jean and Judy Lillard spent several days recently on a trip to the Great Smokies in North Carolina and Tennessee.

Mrs. Mary M. Krause with Mrs. Walter E. Krause, Jr., Mrs. Fred Pearson and Mrs. Alice Farrell of Front Royal visited Mr. and Mrs. James T. McMinis Sunday in Stafford. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Nichols and three sons recently spent a week camping on the Outer Banks of North Carolina at Hatteras. Mr. and Mrs. John S. Browning, Mrs. Paul Miller, Edgar Browning and Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Wood of Sperryville were Saturday night Bridge guests of Mrs. Earl Edmonds and her son Eddie Edmonds at their home in Huntly. Mrs. G. W. Smith, Jr. was a supper guest Friday of Mr. and Mrs. James Yates in Front Royal. Mrs. F. W. Spalding and Mrs. G. W. Smith, Jr. spent the weekend in Richmond where Mrs. Spalding was the guest of her son Robert L. Massie, Jr. and Mrs. Smith of her son and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Charles L. Smith. Guests this week of Dr. and Mrs. Robert J. Rodgers at their home Clifton are Dr. Rodgers’ brother-in-law and sister Mr. and Mrs. Lad Nickelson and son Jim af Franklin, Texas and the Rodgers’ son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Roger Tomeben of New York. Mr. and Mrs. Edward E. Clark ind family were Sunday dinner quests at the Minslym Hotel in Luray. Eddie Clark was the weekend guest of Mr. and Mrs. B. L. Wilt at Ft. Littleton, Penn. Mrs. Mary Cleverley spent last week in Washington, D. C. where ihe attended the 8th International Congress of Gerontology held at the Sheraton Park and Shoreham hotels. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Campbell and family returned Monday from a week’s visit with Mrs. Campbell’s parents, the Rev. and Mrs. G. C. Watson, Jr. in Bradenton, Florida.
