Sandra Payne and Kathy Winkler of Boston and brenda Butler of Rixeyville spent a week in Washington, D. C. with Mrs. Annie King. They returned home Friday with Mrs. King who remained for the week with her niece, Mrs. Thomas Winkler. She also spent two days with her sister, Mrs. Wallace Weaver and was a dinner guest Wednesday of J. B. Burke and family, returning home on Thursday. Guests for the holiday weekend of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Tidier were Mrs. Raymond Moates and Mr. and Mrs. William Perkins and son Bill of Alexandria and Mrs. Tidler’s sister, Mrs. Julia Carver of Culpeper.

Mr. and Mrs. William Vermillion of White Plains, Md. were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Friday through Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Thornhill and family, Mr. and Mrs. George Butler, Jr. and family of Culpeper, Mrs. Mary Baker of Winston and Mrs. George Butler, Sr. enjoyed a picnic dinner at the Pinnacles on Skyline Drive on Sunday.
