PUBLIC NOTICE

All interested persons are advised that the State Highway Commission of Virginia is hereby indicating its willingness to hold a combined location and design hearing on the proposed improvement on Route 647 in Fauquier and Rappahannock Counties from 0.023 mile east of the Fauquier-Rappahannock County Line to 0.127 mile west of the Fauquier-Rappahannock County Line, approximately 0.362 mile which improvement is now being considered by the Highway Commission.

Information concerning the tentative location and design for the proposed improvement of this route is available at the office of the District Engineer of the State Highway Department in Culpeper Virginia and the office of the Resident Engineer of the State Highway Department in Warrenton, Virginia. Any interested citizens from the communities affected by this route may request that a combined location and design hearing be held by sending a written request to the Resident Engineer, Virginia State Highway Department, Alt. Route 211, P. 0. Box 33, Warrenton, Virginia 22186, on or before September 18, 1969. In the event such a request is received, a further notice of the time and place of the hearing will be posted.
