And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send and who will go for us?” Then said I, “Here am I! Send me.” Isaiah 6:8-9.
In the sixth chapter of Isaiah, there is recorded Isaiah’s response to God’s call. Little is known about the early life of this prophet, but it is believed that he was a priest and was worshipping in the temple at Jerusalem when he answered the Call of God. The Voice of God is calling today as it did in Zion and we need to answer with commitment, “Lord, Here am I, send me.” Let us remember that God has no hands except ours.
Prayer For Service:
“O Lord take us and make us holy,
Teach us Thy will and way.
Speak to us and we will answer
Command and we will obey.” Amen
