Mrs. Annie Filling
A graveside funeral service was held Monday at the Woodville Cemetery for Mrs. Annie Jones Filling, 80, widow of James Filling, Sr. of Woodville. The service was conducted by the Rev. Horace Douty. Mrs. Filling died Friday, August 29, 1969, in a Richmond nursing home. She is survived by a son, James H. Filling, Jr. of Greenville, S. C. and two grandchildren, James H. Filling III and Lenola Virginia Filling, both of Greenville.

The Woodville Baptist Church held a wiener roast at Graves Mountain Lodge on Sunday with about fourty members and visitors attending. Larry Conners, son of Mr. and Mrs. Emory Conners, left Wednesday for his senior year at Frederick Military Academy in Portsmou th. Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Titchenell attended the Renta! Uniform banquet at Holiday Inn on Friday night. Miss Beth O’Bannon and Miss Carol Lee Quaintance spent several days last week at Virginia Beach.
