The annual meeting of the Rappahannock Unit American Cancer Society will be held Monday, September 8 at the Washington Baptist Church beginning at 7:30 p.m.
Guest speaker for the meeting will be Russell T. Cook, Area Executive Director of Northern Virginia. His topic will be the organization of national, state and local units; the work and purpose of such organizations.
Mr. Cook has been involved in the work of the ACS since September 1963 serving as field representative in Pennsylvania from then until April 1966. For the next two years he was Executive Director for the Prince George County Unit in Maryland
where he supervised 4 full time md 16 part-time staff members.
