L. Parrish, Mrs. W. L. Payne, Jimmy Burke, Whit Hudson, Mrs. Mary N. Wood, Mrs. Sarah Latham, Clifford Woodard Jr., Stanley Magee, Lester Burke and Mrs. John Eubank. Also Rev. Williarh Hargett, Mrs. Bertha Armel, Mrs. Mary Jordan, Billy Freeman, Mrs. Laura N. Wharton, Judge R.V. Snead, E. M. Jones, Mrs. John Carney, Mrs. Patricia A. Giles, Mrs. Pauline Bruce, Edward Bailey, Lee E. Mitchell, Netus Brown and Thomas Massie. Of these donors, eight were rejected leaving a total of 21 pints of blood collected.
Effective Monday, May 4th, 1970 the Post Office at Washington, Virginia will be closed for lunch, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 12:30 to 1 p.m. Lobby will be closed on Sundays and holidays.
