I am just about fed up with the Rappahannock busybodies who have nothing to do but spy on the public school driver education car. This includes those who have to map its progress from place to place and those who deem it necessary to inform Russell Brothers when they think it needs a bath!
Number one, ladies and gentlemen, as the case may be, a student can learn to drive in a car with a few smudges just as well as without the smudges. What do you expect during the rainy season?
Number two, what difference should it make as long as the students have the opportunity to learn under qualified instructors? . Number three, those qualified instructors work a full day under regular teaching contracts and then donate over 300 hours (not under contract) outside of school on their own time so that all the students within a given class will have the opportunity to learn to drive. They are paid much less than normal teaching wages per hour for work that is often twice as tedious. Wouldn’t Rappahannock be a much better place to live if all its busybodies donated that much time to the public’s benefit?
