Two vehicles were involved in a minor collision Thursday morning in front of Baldwin’s Grocery just west of the Town of Washington on Route 211.

Mrs. Frances Thornton of Sperryville operating a 65 Plymouth Valiant was making a left turn into the store area when a 66 Ford operated by Michael David Wood of Washington, D. C. attempted to pass. The Wood car struck the Thornton car in the rear. Damage was estimated at $250 to Wood and $150 to the Valiant by investigating officer, W. A. Buntin.
