Honored for length of service at the Flint Hill Firemen’s banquet last Wednesday were Emory C. Russell and John S. Browning who have each served sixteen years as a member and officer of that volunteer organization. Mr. Russell served this tenure as fire chief and is presently serving as the treasurer. Mr. Browning held the office of treasurer for that length of time and has retired from office. They were each presented an engraved plaque by the company's president, H. S. Barksdale.
