Mrs. Sarah Latham Rappahannock News Washington, Va. Dear Mrs. Latham:
It is my sincere hope that the concerned citizens of Rappahannock County will find some way to defeat the Riverton-Boston project. In addition to marring the scenic beauty of this area, the cost of constructing a power line this large will certainly be passed on to the consumer in the form of higher rates.
Potomac Edison’s rates are extremely high already. Of course, we can all “live better electrically” but is it worth the cost?
