Engagement Announced
Mr. and Mrs. Granville Harding Steinmetz of Richmond Virginia announce the engagement <Sf their daughter, Patricia Anne, to John
Bannon III, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Maurice O’Bannon of Woodville. Miss Steinmetz will graduate in June from Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond, with a Bachelor of Science degree in English Education. She received the E H Behrend Scholarship for 1967-69 and the Scott Foundation Scholarship for 1969-71. In 1970, Miss Steinmetz was awarded the English-Speaking Union Scholarship and attended the University of Oxford, Oxford, England that summer. She was named to Who’s Who in America’s Colleges and Universities in 1970 also. Mr. O’Bannon was graduated from the University of Richmond in 1969 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and at present is attending the medical school of the Medical College of Virginia, Health Sciences Division of Virginia Commonwealth University. At the University of Richmond he was a member of Phi Delta Theta and was nominated to Phi Beta Kappa. The wedding is planned for Sunday, June 27 at Christ Ascension Episcopal Church in Richmond.
